G.O. Adegoke is a Professor of Food Microbiology/Safety at the University of Ibadan, Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Technology. Professor Adegoke is a member of the Institute of Public Analysts and a Founding Member of the Nigeria Mycotoxin Awareness and Study Network (NMASN). Professor Adegoke was invited as a Consultant by the World Health Organization( WHO)in 1996, 1999, 2002 and 2007-2014 on issues relating to Healthy Food Market, acrylamide and food safety (FERG) respectively. Professor Adegoke is a member of Food and Agriculture Organisation's JECFA on food additives, contaminants and toxicants. Professor Adegoke is an online reviewer for several journals with reasonable impact factors and he is on the Editorial Boards of some international journals.
