Tefera Darge Delbiso is a Research Associate and PhD candidate at the Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disaster (CRED), Université catholique de Louvain (UCL). Prior to that, he was a research advisor in the non-governmental organization Marie Stops International-Ethiopia, a lecturer at Hawassa University-Ethiopia, and an independent consultant in different organizations. He holds B.Sc. in Statistics and M.Sc. in Population Studies (Reproductive Health) from Addis Ababa University and an advanced master's in Public Health Methodology from Université libre de Bruxelles. He has published scientific articles in reputable journals. His research activity includes the assessment of the burden of child and maternal health, malnutrition, and mortality in drought, conflict and refugee settings.
