Description
Dr Francis Zotor has a doctoral training in public health nutrition and is a registered public health nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition, UK and Ireland. He is a recognized leader in nutrition across Africa and has been instrumental in driving and promoting the establishment of a strong nutrition profession on the continent through training and research to underpin programme delivery especially across the health and education sectors. His expertise covers developing links between poverty, food and nutrition security and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across the life cycle. He is a full time senior academic at the School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences, Hohoe, Ghana. Dr Zotor is a Trustee and current President of the African Nutrition Society (ANS). He is also a listed nutrition consultant on the WHO/AFRO database, and sits on the Steering Group of the UN’s Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Civil Society Network.
